About Vision of Angels Youth Foundation

To provide the youth of Greater Cleveland the opportunity to explore and discover their highest potential through education, recreation and community outreach.

The Vision of Angels Youth Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. It was established in 2009 by a Sears Mitchell; a completely blind individual who had a vision of change for the youth of the city of Cleveland. He started this organization with a group of friends and over the years it has blossomed into a productive and sustainable organization. Over the past ten years, the Vision Of Angels Youth Foundation has been able to accommodate and support over 200 children from and around the Greater Cleveland area. We have a dedicated team of volunteers and children to help take this experience out into the community to make a difference.

Compared to youth throughout Ohio and across the nation; the children living in and around the Cleveland area are among the poorest and under privileged. With school achievement and graduation rates being at a low point, it leaves our children susceptible to higher risks of pregnancies, unemployment, and crimes being committed among themselves and others in the community. Our primary goal at Vision of Angels Youth Foundation is to make a significant positive impact in these areas in the Greater Cleveland area. Since our start in 2009, the children involved in our programs have shown significant improvements in school and throughout their communities. We achieved these goals through programs that enhances their physical, social, and artistic developments.

We do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, color, sex, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, or disability. We as a youth organization welcome all!!
